Psalm 103:10
He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities. (KJV)
My friends when we Pray to God, we give so many requests to HIM, everyday. GOD graciously answers the Prayer requests of HIS people. But when it comes to giving Thanks, we merely glorify God for a moment and that’s it.
Gratitude or Thanks even in worldly terms has great value and importance. When somebody does something good for us, we Thank that person (being courteous). Thanks is not merely a word but an expression of our feeling. We are grateful to the other person. The other person who receives our Thanks, also feels good. The expression of Thankfulness is the way of appreciation.
When we look back at our lives, there are so many people who have done so much for us but we easily forget. It is very difficult to acknowledge and appreciate anyone and especially publicly Thank the people. The same way God does so many things in our lives, but we the people forget the big and the small things (both) that GOD does in our lives. From the day,we came in this world and then until the time of Salvation, then from that day of Salvation to this day that we are living in, we cannot fathom or count the great work and blessings that God does, since day one. (Psalm 40:5)
So many times God saves from unknown troubles, destruction’s, diseases, death, plagues, disasters, accidents etc. In-spite of our shortcomings, sins, mistakes, our wrong doings, God shows HIS Goodness to us. So many times, we grumble, murmur and even question God for even small matters. GOD is still patient with us. Even this very day is a miracle. We are able to see and read the Word of God, we can hear the Word of God, we have mouth, tongue and lips to Praise, Pray to God and Preach the Word of God to others. He has given us so many Good things that we even don’t think about. How can we Thank the Creator? Our vocabulary fails to express Thanks. Finite man cannot offer anything to an Infinite GOD. We have a finite life,a limited life span to Thank God.
Those who are born again, must remember, God gave an opportunity to get a second life here on earth itself. We must Thank God for doing so many things which we never demanded or earned.Thank the Father for sending HIS Beloved Son on earth (John 3:16) Lord JESUS became man to understand man, HE became poor to understand poor, took our sicknesses, HIS body was broken for us, HIS Blood was shed for us, HE took our guilt, our shame, our dishonor,our curses on The Cross. HE took our fears, especially the fear of death, the fear of future, HIS sweat became blood, HE wore the Crown of Thorns on HIS HEAD for us, HE died for us, HE was buried for us, HE was Resurrected for us. HE is coming back for us. HIS name is JESUS CHRIST, our LORD, SAVIOR AND ETERNAL FATHER. My friends how can we Thank for such an awesome work that is for Eternity for us. Thank the HOLY SPIRIT for HIS great work everyday in our lives. For cultivating HIS FRUIT in us, giving HIS gifts for us, constantly convicting us and Anointing us, for being our Teacher, Comforter and Guide us.
The way every person becomes born-again, we notice that there is one unique phenomenon among the believers that every person has a different testimony the way he/she gets saved,even within the same family. Then Lord everyday speaks to HIS people, listens to their cries,pleas and petitions, hears them and answers them. Lord then chooses HIS people for a specific call and even sanctifies us and makes us Faithful,Righteous and Obedient. HE preserves us for HIS Kingdom (1 Thessalonians 5:23). My friends let us Thank GOD for everything (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18). Praise HIM always.

Bless the Lord, O my soul;
And all that is within me, bless His holy name!
2 Bless the Lord, O my soul,
And forget not all His benefits:
3 Who forgives all your iniquities,
Who heals all your diseases,
4 Who redeems your life from destruction,
Who crowns you with loving kindness and tender mercies,
5 Who satisfies your mouth with good things,
So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’
