MIND.
Yes LORD JESUS will keep all of us in PERFECT PEACE provided our minds remain Focused and stayed only on JESUS Alone.
Watch over your heart with all diligence, For from it flow the springs of life.-Prov 4:23
“The good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth what is good; and the evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth what is evil; for his mouth speaks from that which fills his heart.-Luke 6:45.
Well we may be Good sermon makers,but our real life begins when we are outside the four walls of the church/meeting.We can present flowery sermons but our thoughts may be judgmental,bitter,full of malice,hypocrisy,casualness.Mind is always at work.Thoughts are the fastest to travel in space.More than any star or even speed of light,the thoughts are uncontrollable and can reach anywhere,anytime.
Many times Sadducee’s,Pharisees in the Bible we read pretended to learn from Jesus or ask a genuine question,but LORD JESUS knew there intentions.He directly pointed out at them boldly.My friends Bible says in Gal 6:7-“Do not be deceived,God is not mocked whatsoever a man soweth that shall he reapeth”.Our thoughts are also a seed.Seed into the future.Few months back God revealed to one of HIS Prophets’ that as the time approaches for the second LORD JESUS CHRIST,the seed sown in any form will bring very quick harvest.If a man sows hatred for anyone then he will reap hundred folds of it in coming days and weeks not years.The increase in Technology in the natural is the reflection of the increase in activity in the Supernatural.Spiritual activities are manifested in the natural.
Bible says as a man thinks so is he…My friends what all we think speaks loud and clear in Heaven.Thoughts have a very powerful Role in shaping and governing our spiritual life.
And He was saying, “That which proceeds out of the man, that is what defiles the man. “For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed the evil thoughts, fornication, thefts, murders, adulteries, deeds of coveting and wickedness, as well as deceit, sensuality, envy, slander, pride and foolishness.-Mark 7:20-22.Mind will govern our speech and actions.Our Spirit and body are constantly at war with each other,it is the soul(mind)that decides which way to follow.Even Anointed people of GOD can be enticed.The mind becomes so much tuned to the things of the flesh that the person looses sensitivity to the voice of The HOLY SPIRIT.They replace the things of the Spirit with the things of the flesh and think that God doesn’t look or is bothered by such outward matters.My friends we are just ourselves.Lord JESUS CHRIST is a God of LOVE but a God of justice too.
Most people are mistaken and think that God of old testament is an angry God but JESUS of New Testament or Covenant is full of Grace.Does really Bible teach that?They discard the ten commandments.But What did God The Father,God of the Prophets,God of the Old Testament say or introduce HIMSELF to Prophet Moses-
Exodus 34:6-7 And the Lord passed by before him, and proclaimed, The Lord! the Lord! a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abundant in loving-kindness and truth,
7 Keeping mercy and loving-kindness for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, but Who will by no means clear the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children and the children’s children, to the third and fourth generation.
God Almighty Introduced Himself as a Merciful God and Gracious.Yes The Israelite’s sinned by grumbling and murmuring against His Prophet Moses and God for 40 years,still God was Gracious and gave everything for their everyday life.Today again the history repeats itself when we see people speaking against the Prophets of GOD and just because of their lack of ability to deny themselves of the pleasure of the world they have Portrayed as a Eternal Loving God who tolerates even our garbage and unpleasant life style.Our denial or mind set does not change a bit of the Truth.Lord JESUS CHRIST our LOVING FATHER Does Love to Forgive sins but continual sin and lack of repentance means that our mind is not being renewed.Rom 12:2 teaches that our mind must be renewed.There are still many mysteries that God will only reveal to HIS PROPHETS AND APOSTLES as per Eph 3:5.Only Prophetical and Apostolic Anointing unfolds and will unfold certain mysteries.Our mind has to open and be flexible to learn New Things from THE HOLY SPIRIT.Today rather than being professional be passionate,not bitter but better,not emotions but compassion,snot being selfish but selflessness must replace the Gospel of LORD JESUS CHRIST.We must not compromise with the Preaching,if we want to please the LORD JESUS CHRIST.to be continued…
We are a Spirit,we have a soul and we live in a body.Many of us are aware of this truth.But having LORD JESUS in our Heart begins a process that really is life changing.Our Spirit gets Born-again the day LORD JESUS enters our heart.But that is not enough.If we really want to do something for the LORD JESUS CHRIST or we want to be a Blessing to others then something more is required.Our Soul plays an important part in coming closer to GOD.
If we read The Book of Genesis-6:5-“The Lord saw that the wickedness (depravity) of man was great on the earth, and that every imagination or intent of the thoughts of his heart were only evil continually”-Amplified.
Yes man’s works were evil but LORD was Grieved to see the Imagination(Intent,Motives,Thoughts)of HIS Heart.Because his thoughts were continually evil.LORD JESUS doesn’t only notice our actions but our motives too.
You ask and do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it on your pleasures.-James 4:3.
Lord JESUS carefully sees and records our thoughts.Heaven records our Words,Thoughts,Motives.Even if we preach or pray or Worship GOD,it should be a selfless one.If we are doing it to show others then our motives are not pure,but if for our Master alone then Lord will be pleased.
Gal 1:10-St Paul makes this very clear.
We know in Gen 11:1-8
They said, “Come, let us build a city for ourselves, and a tower whose top will reach into the heavens, and let us make a [famous] name for ourselves, so that we will not be scattered [into separate groups] and be dispersed over the surface of the entire earth [as the Lord instructed]-Gen 11:4(Amp)
People on earth had the same language,but the intent of their was of pride as they wanted to be equivalent to Heaven(God)and wanted name for themselves.
Now the Lord came down to see the city and the tower which the sons of men had built. 6 And the Lord said, “Behold, they are one [unified] people, and they all have the same language. This is only the beginning of what they will do [in rebellion against Me], and now no evil thing they imagine they can do will be impossible for them-Gen 11:5-6.-
God The Father,LORD JESUS CHRIST AND THE HOLY SPIRIT came to visit the Earth and knew that People are of one accord(unified,one mind),spoke same language (i.e maintained same confession),God realized that no evil thing they imagine will be impossible for man to attain.We can study and meditate that how their evil imagination(of pride and name)counter to the nature of GOD had such a power that it forced GOD Himself to intervene to stop man,how much more Your Good Intentions,Motives,Thoughts have the Power to Walk in the Blessing,Abundance and Fellowship and Anointing of GOD rather GLORY OF GOD.When evil thoughts can attain the impossible as per the above verse then my friends how much more can be attained when our Confessions and Thoughts are in Synchronization with HEAVEN.
Romans 12:1-2-Therefore I urge you, [b]brothers and sisters, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies [dedicating all of yourselves, set apart] as a living sacrifice, holy and well-pleasing to God, which is your rational (logical, intelligent) act of worship. 2 And do not be conformed to this world [any longer with its superficial values and customs], but be [c]transformed and progressively changed [as you mature spiritually] by the renewing of your mind [focusing on godly values and ethical attitudes], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His plan and purpose for you].
The above verse teaches us that only when our minds are Renewed we have complete Transformation.We change progressively from Glory to Glory unto Perfection as we allow GOD to Renew our minds.Also we will know the will(calling)of GOD in our lives.
Soul has four important components-Our mind,emotions,intellect,will.It can be further sub-divided but the above are four main components.
What should be in our mind?What thoughts please GOD? God willing to continue….
