My dear brothers and sisters Bible says in Joel 2:28,29
“And it shall come to pass afterward
That I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh;
Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy,
Your old men shall dream dreams,
Your young men shall see visions.
And also on My menservants and on My maidservants
I will pour out My Spirit in those days.”
Lord says through HIS prophet that in the last days (afterward) that Lord will pour out HIS Spirit (Holy Spirit) on all flesh and as a result Prophetical anointing will be released as never before upon all age group of people. The component of which are written in the above verses. We have heard about the nine gifts of the Holy Spirit given to save souls and edify others so that God can be glorified in them. 1 Corinthians 12:4-11 mentions about the Spiritual nine gifts as written in the following verses:-
There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord. And there are diversities of activities, but it is the same God who works all in all. But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all: for to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing’s by the same Spirit, to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues. But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills.
The above gifts are ministry tools to benefit all, but this is the basic level that God gives to HIS children. God willing we will see these gifts in detail in the article regarding the Gifts of the Holy Spirit. In this article we are talking about a step further here that is about the seven Spirits of God. The book of Isaiah prophecies about Lord JESUS CHRIST in Isaiah 11:2
The Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon Him,
The Spirit of wisdom and understanding,
The Spirit of counsel and might,
The Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord.
My friends when we study about the nine gifts of The Holy Spirit we read about the gifts of the ” word of wisdom, word of knowledge”, but when we talk about the seven Spirits of God we talk about the Spirit of wisdom and Spirit of knowledge. These 7 Spirits are the end time 7 manifestations of the HOLY SPIRIT. This is a step further than the nine gifts mentioned in 1 Corinthians 12:1,4-11. When we talk about the Spirit of wisdom or knowledge, it is actually baptism of wisdom and knowledge. It is being immersed into the wisdom of God in its fullness. When we read about types of wisdom in Bible, we study about the part of wisdom in Prophet Joseph, part in Prophet Daniel and a part in King Solomon. But St Paul says in 1 Corinthians 1:24 says
“but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God”
JESUS CHRIST is the source of all wisdom and HE Himself is wisdom, therefore in the last days HE Himself will fill the people with HIS fullness. In the above verse of Isaiah 11:2, this was a Prophecy regarding our Father Lord JESUS CHRIST that HE will flow in these 7 Spirits of God when HE operates on earth. We see therefore that not even a single person went back empty handed or kept waiting for his/her miracle after meeting JESUS CHRIST for the first time. The miracles in the ministry of our Lord were incredible, remarkable, instant and permanent. HE has all the nine gifts and the 7 Spirits of God resting upon HIM. Similarly in these end times God wants us to fill us in this manner and complete power of the Holy Spirit will be visible in the sight of all kinds of people. The coming revival is like no other and therefore we need a fresh revelation of the end time anointing and glory that is to be poured upon the people in these times and the seasons. The seven Spirits are like 7 colors of a rainbow being a covenant of blessing to this generation as it was with Noah. The seven Spirits of God are mentioned at other places as well in the word of God. The book of Revelation has several mentions about the seven spirits of God, let us read Revelation 1:4,5
John, to the seven churches which are in Asia:
Grace to you and peace from Him who is and who was and who is to come, and from the seven Spirits who are before His throne, and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler over the kings of the earth.
To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood,
The above verse is really a fascinating one as it amazingly mentions about the authors i.e. Lord JESUS CHRIST and the Seven Spirits of God who are before HIS throne. My dear friends, God gave St John the revelation through the seven Spirits of God, along with the glorified person of Lord JESUS CHRIST. If we really want to move and overflow in last days anointing and if we want to understand the book of revelation, we need the seven Spirits of God. Genesis 37:3 says
Now Israel loved Joseph more than all his children, because he was the son of his old age: and he made him a coat of many colors. Yes Joseph was given a many colored coat and it was a prophetical sign that Joseph was carrying many gifts in him that were to be manifested outside in the coming times as no other had done so previously. This was an expression of Jacob (father’s) love for Joseph. This is a symbolic presentations of last days Prophetical anointing of the seven Spirits of God upon the people of God. Revelation 3:1 says that Lord JESUS CHRIST holds these seven Spirits of God. Revelation 4:5 connects the seven Spirits of God to the seven burning lamps of God before HIS throne i.e. the end time church must operate to be a burning lamp as per the seven Spirits of God. Revelation 5:6 connects the seven Spirits to the seven eyes of the Lord that are sent to the whole earth to watch over everything.
My friends we are certainly on the verge of the end time outpouring of The HOLY SPIRIT, but if we don’t have the revelation of the seven Spirits, we won’t be able to recognize the last days move of God. Some modern day Prophets and Apostles and also in the history of the church carry if not all the seven but at least most of them on their lives. Br Charles Finney and Br John Wessley were good examples. Br DGS Dhinakaran, Br Sadhu Sundar Selvaraj, Br Neville Johnson, Br John Rabindranath are few of the Prophets among the chosen who carry these seven Spirits. We will study the details of the seven Spirits in detail in the next article pertaining to this topic God willing.
